Sian Eleanor Hopkins is the second wife of the late William “Bo” Hopkins. The couple met in the 1980’s and went on a number of dates before finally becoming a couple officially. Legendary Actor Bo Hopkins died at Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys after suffering a heart attack aged 80 years old on May 28, 2022. His acting career spanned over 60 years and he appeared in over 100 Movies and Tv Shows.
‘It is with great sadness that we announce that Bo has passed away,’ reads a statement on the website. ‘Bo loved hearing from his fans from around the world and although he was unable to respond to every email over the last few years, he appreciated hearing from each and every one of you.’
Hoskins’ acting career began in 1968 at the Victoria Theatre in Stoke-on-Trent, where he portrayed a servant named Peter in a production of Romeo and Juliet. He told The Guardian in 2007 that he regretted starring as Mario in Super Mario Bros. (1993), saying that he was extremely unhappy with the film, greatly angered by his experiences making it, and referring to it as the “worst thing I ever did,” while waiting for his friend, actor Robert Frost, in the Unity Theatre’s bar.
Born on February 2, 1938, in Greenville, South Carolina Bo whose e formal name was William Mauldin Hopkins was adopted by a couple who was unable to conceive at only 9 months. His adoptive mother was a homemaker while his father worked at a local mill.
He was standing on the family porch with his mother when he witnessed his father’s death. His father eventually remarried after his father’s death but he did not get along with his new stepfather and allegedly ran away from home a number of times.
